The First Sunday in Advent 2010

Hello everybody- have a wonderful Advent - I have a feeling I'll have one - even though I'm still in winter lair!  But I've been scrapping!  I just love papercraft - scrapping and cardmaking and creative matchboxscrapping.  The first time a saw this Matchboxcalender by Tracie Hudson I just knew I had to make one - one day or two!

I've used paper from 3ndypapir - fantastic Norwegian paper.  Flowers from the drawer - metallcharmes from Unik Hobby - The Scrap Store in Hamar City!

I've painted the insidewalls! of all the 24 matchbox with white Pebeo High Viscosity Studioacryl - paper from Papirdesign on the matchboxfloor!

Diamond Glaze from Judi Kins has been with me the whole project!

The walls are made in Bazzil - just Bazzil!  And the rubonswords are from Cosmo Cricket

Snowflakes from Spellbinders - white snowpaint from Adirondack Rangers.  I've made snowflakes in shrink plastic - enjoyable - try it!

Stamp from Kort og Godt - love their stamps!

All my flowers are beige or white - theese I've colored with Tattered Angels  Glimmer Mist Tattered Leather

The Cinnamon did I buy in Moscow, Idaho, USA last summer!

I've used Diamond Glaze on the God Jul / Marry Christmas!

Thank you for dropping by - have a wonderful Advent - and do not forget to enjoy...

Moscow, Idaho

This is The Interstate 90 in Montana - it's green hills and big ranches with cows all over.
From Butte in Montana we drove west to Idaho State.

Here we are entering The State of Idaho, driving in the Rocky Mountains - I did! It was like a screwdriver! Fun!

This is where we entered Moscow - the first stop on our trip that "means" something to me - Lene my Great Great Grandmothers sister lived here with her family. And tomorrow I will go to The Cemetery to look for their gravestones - looking foreward to do that!!

Thank you for stopping at my blog - and enjoy life - it is out there - somewere! Take care!

Here they are - Stine and Tove!

Me picking - not eating - lingonberries / mountain cranberries / red whortleberris in the wood of Solør - the part of Norway were I spend the first ten years of my life!

Wintertime in Gamleveien - Flisa.

Summertime in Gamleveien - Flisa.
Tove has her own way to scrap - colorful and lifeful. She's using a lot of "scrap" - ordinary "scrap"
The first - SMIL - one are made by colorful straws, coctailpins, tulle, some paperscraps, paint and some pearls.
The second one - GLIS - are made by paint on plasticbubbles, paperscraps, paperclips, napkin, selfcutting edgings, tulle, pearls, and ribbon.
The third one - ME - aare made by painting, crad from a cardstock, tulle, paperclips, paper from a chewing gum, buttons and pearls.
And we had to sew on all layouts - it was fun! Thank you Tove!
Enjoy the ride!
