1. January 2013

Happy New Year to you all!  This year will be a good one, I think.  We - the women - in Norway have a 100 years celebration to attend to.  A 100 year with universal suffrage!  Congratulation to all of us!  Freedom in our own way.
The people in Nordre Osen has always been strong and selfdeterminated.  Long before 1777 - they had an idea that they too should have a church.  They didn't get any help, well nearly any help from The Norwegian Church.  But they did what they had to do - like us, the girls - they build a church - a red church.  And in 1777 the peolpe in Nordre Osen could use their own Church.

Nichlas did decorate our Christmas Tree this year - he likes doing that.  I bought him this one some years ago...

And of course I have some nisser - here are two...I don't think they are married...)

Have a Splendid and Happy New Year - make yourself some goals, I've made mine...and enjoy...:)

New Years Eve 2011

Hi - I'm not a blogger - even though I have blog!  A Scrapbook blog! A Genealogy blog!
I ended my period in politics in September - after 8 years in the Executive committee of Stange County as well as the County Board!  And started a study at HiHm...shame on me!

I packed this glas with gladpack - packed the gladpackglass with a lace - and smeared the lacegladpackglass with plaster - let it stayed to dry for a day - then had some really hot water intop the glass or some seconds - an then the gladpack slipped from the glas!

I placed a tealight in the lacebin...

...lit it and..

Wishes you all a Happy New Year!
...do not forget to enjoy...

New Years Eve

Yesterday was cold - it was minus 26 degree Celsius or minus 15 degree Farenheit!  And I'm the lucky girl with a fireplace and tons of chopped firewood - so it can be as cold as it want too, outside!  This is my driveway and you might! see the golden sun - she'll be with us now - stronger and stronger - day by day!  I just love that.

This is my view toward south.  The sky was blue yesterday and the "fog" is from Mjøsa.  She's like me - she doesn't like the cold weather - so she's "fogging" because she is hot and the air is freezing cold.  Amazing.

This is west - the picture is taken from our second floor - here you really see Mjøsa and her "fogging"  In a couple of years - we hope to go west one more time.  Thank you so much - all of you - that made our trip go through.

I wish YOU all a Happy New Year - might the new year be the very best, ever!  Enjoy...
